Kaganovskaya denied the report that she would be paired with Chirizano

Russian figure skater Vasilisa Kaganovskaya during a conversation with , she denied the information that she would continue her career in tandem with Dario Cirizano.

Earlier, RIA Novosti Sport reported that Kaganovskaya could be paired with Chirizano.

“I don’t know where this news comes from,” Kaganovskaya told .

On August 31, it became known about the disintegration of the dance duo of Kaganovskaya and Valery Angelopol by mutual agreement. After that, Kaganovskaya said that it was the partner’s decision, and the reason for the collapse was the contract that Angelopol offered her to sign. According to this agreement, she had to take a partner “for full material support”. Kaganovskaya and Angelopol are the winners of the Russian Grand Prix Final.

Cirizano is a Russian figure skater of Italian origin. Since 2018 he has been playing for Russia with Irina Khavronina, in January 2023 the duo broke up. Soon the skater found a new partner – the Czech Denis Tsimlova, and the Czech association turned to his Russian colleagues about the transition of Chirizano to their flag. In May, Chirizano received a refusal from the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) during the transition under the auspices of the Czech Federation.
