Silver medalist at the 2022 European Figure Skating Championships Daniel Grassl announced on social media that he was ending his cooperation with the Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze.
– After the experience gained in the USA and Russia, I decided to return to Italy to continue training and preparing for the next seasons. I will train in Turin with Edoardo De Bernardis. The experience I had in America and Russia helped me a lot.
Special thanks to Eteri Tuberidze for his professional support and training,” the 21-year-old Italian wrote.
In January, it was reported that Grassl was training with Tutberidze. The coach herself and her team members Daniil Gleikhengauz and Sergey Dudakov accompanied Grassl to the 2023 World Championships in Saitama (Japan). The Italian figure skater took 12th place in the tournament.
