Head Coach of the Russian National Synchronized Swimming Team Tatiana Danchenko on described as unfair the criteria of the International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics) for the admission of Russian athletes to international competitions.
On Monday, World Aquatics approved criteria that will allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete under the auspices of the organization with neutral status. Among the conditions is the lack of national symbols and active support for the NWO. Individual neutral athletes will only be permitted to compete in events where the time or outcome is determined by an athlete’s performance. Thus, the Russians will not be able to participate in the selection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in synchronized swimming and water polo.
– It is unfair that we were excluded from the draw for the two medals at the Olympics. It’s unfair, because I believe that a duet is also an individual program.
Eliminate the competitors! For six Olympics we won all the gold and, of course, that didn’t please everyone. Nothing! We will prepare for the BRICS Games, the Friendship Games, we will somehow reformat for other competitions,” Danchenko said on .
Since 2000, the Russian synchronized swimming team has been invincible at the Olympics.
The Olympic Games in the French capital will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
