The contract with an experienced goalkeeper was signed under the 1 + 1 scheme
Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will officially continue his career in Anderlecht. The 36-year-old Danish goalkeeper signed a one-year contract with the Belgian club with the option to extend for another season.
Last season, Schmeichel played for Nice, where he made 46 appearances and conceded 47 goals. 13 fights the goalkeeper played “to zero”. The French club and Kasper have decided to terminate the contract this summer.
Schmeichel is best known for playing for the English Leicester, with whom he became the champion of England in the 2015/2016 season.
Anderlecht is second in the Belgian league table. In the next match the team will play against Kortrijk on 17 September.
