Russian figure skater Mark Kondratyuk admitted that he was very worried about giving a speech to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In 2022 Kondratyuk was awarded the Order of Friendship. The prizes are awarded for “high-level sporting achievements, the will to win, resilience and determination demonstrated at the 2022 Games”.
