According to , the International Skating Union (ISU) will test the division of the figure skating judging team into technique and component at the Challenge Cup tournament in the Netherlands.
Earlier, reported that the Netherlands submitted a proposal to the ISU congress to split the figure skating jury into one that assesses technique and one that deals with components. The delegates decided to postpone the initiative to the next congress and to test it in some competitions over the next two seasons.
According to , the first tournament where the new system will be tested is expected to be the Challenge Cup, which will be held February 23-26 in Tilburg. The full list of test tournaments will be published later.
