The group distribution procedure will take place on September 19 in Munich
Ukrainian women’s team entered the fourth pot during the qualifying draw for EuroBasket 2025.
The Ukrainians will definitely not play against Latvia, Poland and Croatia in the qualifying tournament. Teams from the fourth pot will meet with representatives from the first, fifth and eighth pots. Other groups will be made up of the second, third, sixth and seventh baskets.
A separate Group I was created for the EuroBasket host teams – Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic and Germany. They received places in the final part and will play each other for FIBA ranking points.
The 8 group winners, as well as the 4 best second places in the qualifications, will qualify for EuroBasket 2025. The draw will take place on September 19 in Munich, and the first qualifying matches will take place on November 9 and 12 this year.
The Ukrainian national team did not make it to the finals of EuroBasket 2023. In qualifying, the blue-yellows took second place in Group B, missing France into the main tournament.
