Figure skater Pavel Drozd do ice dancing with Elizaveta Shanaeva said that the choice of a foreign song in the short program is not related to the hope of returning to international competitions.

Skating tests of the Russian figure skating team take place in Moscow. Shanaeva and Drozd performed a rhythmic dance to the composition Queen and elegant funk.

— Can you connect the choice of a foreign song to the hope of a return?

— I wouldn’t link it to music. We just hope.

— How do you assess the competition this season?

“We don’t rely on anyone, we work alone, even if we are aware of all the news. Last season took us forward. Based on last season’s results, we realized what we needed to fix and what we needed to add. We have to show ourselves because we can do more,” reports a correspondent, reporting Drozd’s words.
