Ukrainians took last place in Group C
Ukrainian women’s beach soccer team failed to make it to the playoffs Euroleague Superfinal 2023.
In the final match of Group C, the Ukrainians met with Portugal. The fate of the meeting was determined at the end of overtime – the victory for the Portuguese team was brought by a goal by Joana Flores 40 seconds before the final whistle – 3:2.
In the first match, Ukraine lost to the Netherlands (2:3). Thus, Yuri Klimenko’s team closed the standings of Group C and will play in the tournament for 5-9th places in the Euroleague Superfinal.
