Evgeniy commented on rumors that he is going to play this season for the amateur Sturm from Ivankov
Former defender of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team Evgeniy Khacheridi commented on rumors about the resumption of his football career.
“I didn’t sign any contract with Sturm. I’m just training with this team. This is true. The rest of the information is not.”
“I’m not attached to this team, let’s put it this way. There are no obligations. If I want, I’m here in Sturm, if I want, I’m not. I keep fit solely for myself.”
“I gave up big-time football a few years ago. There’s already too much of a pause. Amateur level game? Life will show. I’m not planning anything ahead yet. I work out and keep in shape. Wait and see”.
It was recently reported that 36-year-old Khacheridi was included in the application for the season by an amateur club Sturm (Ivankov).
Evgeniy played his last professional match in November 2020 for Dynamo Brest. After leaving the Belarusian club the following winter, Khacheridi remained without a club for a long time, but did not officially announce his retirement. True, in July 2022 he stated that “most likely, that’s it.”
In August 2022, it became known that Khacheridi, in company with other famous former and current football players, began training in coaching courses at the UAF.
