Figure skater Leonova called Duhamel’s comments nonsense

Figure skater Alena Leonova called the words of Canadian Megan Duhamel nonsense.

Duhamel, in an interview with YouTube channel The Skating Lesson, said foreign skaters training in Russia were given a substance like black tar instead of food during training. She also said that during the competition, the sports couple Ksenia Stolbova / Fedor Klimov, during the break after warming up, constantly went to the locker room with their doctor.

“I don’t even want to comment on this nonsense.” Duhamel’s statements often turn out to be extremely strange, so I’m not surprised that she could have said that,” Leonova said, as quoted by RB Sport.

Duhamel, who played pairs with Eric Radford, is an Olympic champion at the PyeongChang Games in the team figure skating tournament and a bronze medalist in pairs skating.
