Barkom-Kazhans confirmed their participation in the Polish Championship

Lviv will play home matches in Krakow

Ukrainian volleyball club Barkom-Kazhany confirmed his participation in the championship of Poland.

“Due to Russian military aggression, we are forced to play our home matches in Poland. One of the sister cities of Lviv is Krakow, and we are very happy that this city will become our temporary home next season,” the club said in a press release.

Earlier, the club clarified that the Kazhans will continue to play in the national championship of Ukraine in parallel with the performance in the local Plus League.

Epicenter-Podoliany also intends to enter the First Polish League. And the champions of the women’s championship of Ukraine from Prometheus will perform in the championship of the Czech Republic.

Last season in the championship of Ukraine was completed ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion. The champions of the men’s and women’s championships were recognized as Epicenter-Podoliany and Prometheus, respectively.
