Five female handball players have left CSKA, including Olympic champions Sedoykina and Sudakova

Five handball players left Moscow CSKA at the end of the 2021/22 season, according to the Moscow club’s website.

Olympic champions will no longer play for the team Marina Sudakova and Anna Sedoykina silver medalist at the Tokyo Games Polina Vedekhina world championship winners Valeria Maslova and Dragana Tsviyich from Serbia.

“I will always remember every season I spent at CSKA,” Vedekhina said. “Unfortunately, sometimes there were injuries that did not allow me to fully experience all the emotions. Here I would like to thank the management of CSKA for their constant help and support. I am proud to be part of the “red and blue” family.

Last season, CSKA won the Russian Cup and silver medals in the national championship.
