Ukrainian women successfully performed at the Diamond League stage in Stockholm

Our athletes have won awards in hurdles, long jump and high jump.

The next round of the Diamond League took place in Stockholm. This time, Ukrainian athletes did not win gold medals here, but they won many other awards.

Our main hope is connected to the sector for high jump. However, the winner of three rounds of the Diamond League this season, Yaroslava Maguchy, was only fifth, stopping at 1.89 meters. Yulia Levchenko and Irina Gerashchenko showed a result of 1.93 meters and won second and third place respectively.

Marina Bekh-Romanchuk won silver in the long jump. Second place was brought to him by a result of 6.76 meters.

In addition, Anna Ryzhikova became the bronze medalist in the 400m hurdles, covering the distance with her best result of the season – 54.33 seconds.
