Kherson team bounced back from 1:3 score
Dnieper in overtime won a strong-willed victory over Kharkov Berserkers in the regular season Ukrainian hockey championship – 4:3.
The Kharkov team opened the scoring in the first minute of the match. The Kherson team managed to bounce back, but in the second period the Berserkers took the lead again. The Kharkiv team converted the majority twice and took the lead with a score of 3:1.
Dnepr managed to get even in the final 20 minutes, Valentin Aleksyuk scored two goals in the majority. And in overtime, Sergei Poymanov brought victory to the Kherson team.
Dnepr took first place in the 2023/24 Ukrainian Championship. In the next match, the Kherson team will play against Kremenchug on October 8.
The Berserkers suffered a second defeat and are in fourth place. In the next match, the Kharkiv team will meet on October 8 with the Kyiv Capitals.
