“They train in America with Igor Shpilband, our American coach. So it would make sense for them to continue there. Davis and Smolkin might be a very cool couple, but now it’s an average option. Until now it’s not a top couple, and it’s unclear what will continue,” Velikova said.
On June 29, American journalist Dave Lees published an insider that in the near future Gleb Smolkin and Diana Davis, performing in ice dancing, will be screened at the United States Figure Skating Federation. According to Lis, the skaters married so that Smolkin, as the husband of US citizen Davis, would have the opportunity to compete in US national competitions, as well as international tournaments, including the Olympics.
