Kostin, Surkova, Samusenko won the second day of the Belarus Open Cup in swimming

World Championship Winner Oleg Kostin won the 50m butterfly at the Belarus Open Cup, which takes place in Brest.

He swam this distance in 23.13 seconds, second and third were Grigory Pekarsky (23.41) and Arseniy Borzhakov 23.53 (both Belarusians). In women, Arina Surkova won at this distance – 25.74, Anastasia Kuleshova from Belarus – second (25.96), Anita Grishchenko – third (26.45).

Pavel Samusenko won the 100m backstroke (53.34), Nikolai Zuev was second (54.10), Belarusian Viktor Staselovich was third with 55.03. Among women at this distance, the representative of Belarus Anastasia Shkurdai was the best – 59.42, Anastasia Duplinskaya (1.01.44) and Vlada Eggi (1.02.51) respectively took second and third place.

Victoria Starostina won the 400m freestyle in 04:19.19. The winners were Olesya Akinchits – 4:20.54 and Olesya Ignatovich – 4:27.73 (both – Belarus). At a distance of 400 m complex, Maxim Stupin won – 4: 19.18, Artem Vorobyov was second (4: 24.01), Belarusian Konstantin Kurochkin – third (4: 30.45).

The Russians also won two relay races: 4×200 freestyle (Daria Trofimova, Vlada Eggi, Anastasia Saratova, Victoria Starostina) – 8:22.77 and combined (Pavel Samusenko, Anton Chupkov, Andrey Zhilkin, Vladislav Grinev) – 3:34.91.
