Falcon beat in a shootout Kyiv Capitals in the match Ukrainian hockey championship – 3:2.

Konstantin Simchuk’s team took the lead twice in the first period, converting the majority both times. First, Vladimir Cherdak managed to score, then Ruslan Romashchenko scored.

Vadim Shakhraichuk’s team managed to win back twice. In the first period, Vladislav Kutsevich equalized the score, and Yaroslav Panchenko scored in the second 20 minutes.

The fate of the meeting was decided in a shootout. Sokol snatched the victory thanks to goals from Vladimir Cherdak and Sergei Babinets. Sokol goalkeeper Bogdan Dyachenko managed not to miss, winning his third series of the season.

Simchuk’s team leads the Ukrainian championship with 10 points. Kyiv Capitals are in second place with seven points.
