Duplantis sets his own outdoor pole vault world record

Sixth grade Swedish jumper Armand Duplantis set a new world record in the outdoor pole vault. At the Diamond League stadium in Stockholm, he showed a result of 6.16 m. The previous achievement also belonged to him and was 6 meters 15 centimeters.

Duplantis, 22, is the 2020 Olympic champion and the highest indoor world champion, 6 meters 20 centimeters.

He won silver at the 2019 World Championships and also became the 2018 European Champion and the 2021 European Indoor Champion.
