Judge Tatyana Rashevskaya violated the rules when evaluating the components of the free program Adélii Petrossian during the first stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix in Ufa.
On Sunday, Petrosyan won the Russian Grand Prix in Ufa with a score of 234.74 points. For the free program, the student of Honored Coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze received 150.36 points.
During the program, Petrosyan fell twice during jumps and also took a step. According to the competition regulations, in case of two or more errors, the judge has the right to award no more than 8.75 for the components. Rashevskaya gave the skater scores of 9.25 for composition, 9.00 for presentation and 9.25 for skating skill, according to the official competition report.
The second stage of the Russian Grand Prix will take place from October 18 to 22 in Omsk.
