Silver medalists of the Russian Figure Skating Championship Diane Davis And Gleb Smolkin performing under the Georgian flag, won the Budapest Trophy in ice dancing.
Davis and Smolkin, who led after the rhythm dance, scored a total of 191.84 points for two programs.
Second place went to the Canadian duo Marie-Jade Laurieau/Romain le Gac (188.32). The French Luisia Demougeau and Théo le Mercier are third (179.68).
In June it became known that Davis and Smolkin would represent the Georgian national team starting in the 2023/24 season. Davis is the daughter of Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze, her partner is the son of actor Boris Smolkin.
