The defender wants to get stable playing practice
Defender Trevo Chalobah intends to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. A football player wants to find a place where he is more likely to get regular playing practice.
In November 2021, the London club signed a long-term contract with its pupil, valid until 2026. In the summer of 2023, Bayern were interested in the defensive player.
The 24-year-old, who can cover both the central and right-back positions, has made a total of 63 appearances for the Blues, scoring four times and providing one assist.
Chalobah has not played yet this season as he continues to recover from a hip injury received in the pre-season.
Trevo’s older brother, 28-year-old Nathaniel Chalobah, also a Chelsea graduate, currently plays in the Championship for West Bromwich Albion.
Chelsea is in 11th place in the Premier League with 11 points from 8 rounds. The Blues’ next match will take place against Arsenal on October 21.
