Athletistic / Athletics. Russian athlete Iskander Yadgarov won the half marathon in Amsterdam (Netherlands). He arrived at the start dressed as the hero of the film “Forest Gump”.
Yadgarov covered a distance of 21.1 kilometers in 1 hour 23 seconds. Alongside him, the Algerian Abdelaziz Dahi (lag – 13 seconds) and the Frenchman Julien Dewan (lag – 15 seconds) climbed onto the podium.

Yadgarov is a two-time winner of the Moscow Marathon. In the half marathons, he did not go beyond 2nd place.
