Athletistic/ Others. The State Duma of the Russian Federation intends to consider the issue related to sports betting. Parliament plans to introduce laws expanding the list of people who are prohibited from betting at bookmakers.
– A legislative initiative will be considered proposing to increase the list of people who are prohibited from betting on official sports competitions. This list now includes athletes, coaches and judges. But no one has the opportunity to indirectly influence the results of sports competitions,” TASS quotes a source from the State Duma Committee for Physical Culture.
