The Brazilian will have time to recover in time for the match with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Conference League
Defender Zari Anderson Jordan escaped serious damage, reports TaToTake.
The Brazilian was injured in the first half of the Ukrainian Cup 1/8 final match against FSK Mariupol (1:0) and was forced to leave the field. Zarya’s doctors feared that Jordan had torn ankle ligaments.
A medical examination showed that the defender only had a sprain. He will likely miss the match with Obolon in the UPL, but should be ready for the match with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Conference League.
Jordan joined Zara last summer. The Brazilian played 12 matches for the Lugansk team and scored 1 goal.
Zorya takes 14th place in the UPL. Valery Kriventsov’s team will play against Obolon on October 20. The Lugansk team’s match with Maccabi is scheduled for October 26, but it is not yet known whether the meeting will take place.
