President of the All-Russian Swimming Federation Vladimir Salnikov spoke about his expectations from the forum “Russia – a sports power” in Perm.
“Everyone is waiting to know how we will react to the situation we find ourselves in due to the sanctions. I am sure that there are solutions, including within our federation, to make national competitions dynamic and open to all participants, including foreigners.
I hope that at the forum there will be a lot of discussions, a lot of opinions and proposals related to how we will develop our sport internally without external influence. We must consider everything that happens as an incentive for the development of infrastructure and the sporting participation of all sections of the population. We hope for further progress in this direction,” Salnikov said on the air of the program “Everyone for the match!” on the channel.
From October 19 to 22, the international sports forum “Russia is a sports power” will take place in Perm.
