Vice-champion of Ukraine Odessa lost to Romanian Minauru in the first match of the second round EHF European Cup 2023/24 in handball.
The match in the Romanian city of Baia Mare took place with the complete superiority of the hosts. After the first half, Minaur won by a margin of +12 goals. The final result recorded a double advantage of the Romanian team.
The return match will take place on October 21. The match will take place in the same Baia Mare, this time the nominal “hosts” will be Odessa residents.
