Goalkeeper Boris Bobik scored a shutout, Yaroslav Panchenko scored a double
Kyiv Capitals unexpectedly defeated last season’s vice-champions Kremenchuk in the match of the Ukrainian regular hockey championship – 6:0.
The first period passed without any goals scored. The turning point happened in the second 20 minutes, when the Kiev team scored three times. In the final period, three more goals flew into the Kremenchug goal.
The hero of the meeting was Capitals goalkeeper Boris Bobik, who scored a shutout. The top scorer of the season, Yaroslav Panchenko, also distinguished himself, scoring a double and an assist.
Vadim Shakhraichuk’s team scored 10 points and took second place in the Ukrainian Championship. Kremenchuk has the same number of points, but is inferior to the Kiev team in additional indicators.
