Ukraine has earned two road cycling licenses for the 2024 Olympics

The blue-yellows will compete in three races in Paris

Ukraine earned two licenses in road cycling on Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.

At the end of the 2023 season, Ukrainians took 44th place in the men’s national ranking of the Universal Cycling Union (UCI). This position allows you to enter one rider for the group race of the 2024 Olympics.

In the UCI women’s ranking, Ukraine is in 23rd place. Thanks to this, one Ukrainian racer will be able to compete in two races – a group race and an individual time trial. The Ukrainian Cycling Federation will determine the composition of participants closer to the 2024 Games themselves.

For the first time in the history of the Olympics, the road group races in Paris 2024 will feature an equal number of men and women – 90 riders in each race. In individual time trials, a maximum of 35 participants will be able to start.
