Athletistic/ Figure skating. The 2014 Olympic women’s single skating champion, Russian figure skater Adelina Sotnikova, has spoken about her relationship with her father.
The athlete admitted that at first only his mother encouraged his passion.
“Dad was against my sports career. I don’t know why. However, I was able to convince him thanks to victories in competitions. My father began to support me: he was so excited that he drove me from there “School at the ice rink and I often slept in his car when I was tired. “Definitely, dad played a huge role in my sports career,” Sotnikova said on the Week&Star show on Europe Plus.
