Fury: After fights with Ngannou and Usyk, I’m going to sign a contract for another 10 fights

The ‘Gypsy King’ gets a lot of fun from boxing

WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury spoke about his future in boxing after a fight with the ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou and a unification battle with Alexander Usik.

“After the fights with Ngannou and Usyk, I’m going to sign a contract for 10 fights. “I’m going to put the feelers out and see who I can get the best deal with for the next 10 fights.”

“What else do you have [кроме бокса]? I’m retired, I have a lot of money, a lot of achievements, but I’m only 35. What am I going to do? I feel damn happy when I fight. That’s all I’ve ever done and all that’s ever made me happy. So it would be stupid to give it up now that I’m making millions of dollars and having a lot of fun doing it.”

“I have been boxing professionally for 15 years. Of course I’m prone to injury [в этом возрасте]. Elbows, knees, shoulders, ankles, anything can go wrong.”

The 10-round fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The WBC title will not be on the line.

After the event in Saudi Arabia, the date of the unification fight between Fury and Usyk will be announced. Let us remind you that the boxers have already signed a contract for a fight for the absolute title in heavyweight. The agreement contains a rematch clause.
