The transfer of cyclist Valeria Lyubimova to the French BMX freestyle team does not fall under the October decree of the Sports Training Center (TSSP) on compensation, a source close to the matter told .
The October order of the TsSP provides for compensation for the departure of an athlete from the national team if the reasons are not valid. The nature of the reasons is determined by a special commission of the TsSP.

Lyubimova received a French license from the UCI and can now play for that country’s national team.
