Five consecutive trophies are a great success for Dynamo volleyball players, Zinichev said

Dynamo won the Russian Super Cup on Monday, beating Lokomotiv Kaliningrad 3-0. In the 2022/23 season, Dynamo volleyball players won the Spartakiad of the Strongest (as part of the Moscow team), the Cup and the Championship of Russia, and this season – the Centenary Cup of Russian Volleyball and the National Super Cup.

— Of course, we are satisfied with the result. The Super Bowl game consisted of two parts. For two games, our team was united and focused. In the third match, with a score of 5:0, one could have thought that the opponent was broken. But Lokomotiv is not a timid opponent, they are a persistent team. A fierce fight ensued, and it was great that the girls led the group to victory by winning the Super Cup. I think the crowd, which was large, was satisfied with the match. We are very happy to have won this trophy, it is the third Russian Super Cup in the history of Dynamo.

So, since August last year, Dynamo has won all five competitions that took place in our country, starting with the Spartakiad of the Strongest. This is a great success, for which I congratulate the team, the coaches and all of us. I hope Dynamo’s victories continue. It will be more difficult further away, our opponents are strong, they play well together. We will defend our titles.

— Do two trophies early in the season inspire optimism later in the season?
