Athletistic / Figure skating. The 2015 world figure skating champion, Russian Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, refused to answer the question about the reasons for her absence for the 2023/2024 season. On October 18, media reported that she would skip the current season altogether and focus on ice shows.
“A few days ago it became known that I was missing the season? I would prefer to answer this question a little later,” Tuktamysheva was quoted as saying by “Championship”.
In the previous season, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva won the stage of the Russian Grand Prix “Moscow Stars”, as well as the stage of the Perm GP.
In the 2022/2023 season, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva managed to win twice at the stages of the Russian Cup (in Moscow and Perm), as well as win a bronze medal at the national championship. During her career, she became a world champion (2015) and a world championship silver medalist (2021). She also has medals in all World Team Championship events.
