“I don’t expect loyalty, but justice. I don’t know all the elements, but there is the skill of skating. Never in my life will I believe that I skate worse than other athletes. Yes, the work in pairs is evaluated, but Gosha skates no worse than the other boys.
I expected a lot of things, but not what can happen with an almost clean version. I want to look the judges in the eyes,” Kostornaya said, as quoted by RIA Novosti Sport.
Kostornaya has previously participated in singles skating competitions.
