UEFA did not impose restrictions on attending the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Ukraine and Italy

The key match for the blue-yellows will take place in Leverkusen

First vice president UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko said that the final qualifying match for Euro 2024 between Ukraine And Italy will take place without restrictions for fans.

Previously, the media reported that UEFA punished the UAF for the behavior of fans in the September matches with England and Italy. The UAF’s appeal did not stop this decision, but the national team served its punishment (partial closure of the stands and a ban on the sale of tickets to the visiting sector) in this month’s matches against North Macedonia and Malta.

“Thus, our match with Italy in November will take place without disciplinary penalties. Ticket sales for the game will be opened in the near future,” Kostyuchenko concluded.

The Ukrainian team scored 13 points in seven matches. The blue-and-yellows are in second place in Group C. England is in the lead, Italy is in third place. Squadra Azzurra has 10 points, but played one match less than Sergei Rebrov’s team.

Note that for second place in the remaining matches, with North Macedonia at home and Ukraine away, Luciano Spalletti’s team needs to take four points.

In their final qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship, Ukraine will play Italy on November 20. The blue-yellows will play their home match in Leverkusen.
