Antetokounmpo agreed with Milwaukee on a three-year contract extension

Under the new agreement, Giannis will earn $62 million per year.

Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo agreed with Milwaukee Bucks about a new contract.

According to Adrien Wojnarowski, the Greek basketball player will sign a three-year agreement worth $186 million. Accordingly, Giannis’ annual salary will be 62 million.

Antetokounmpo, 28, has been playing for Milwaukee since 2013. He became the NBA champion and the best player of the finals in 2021, at the same time he was recognized as the MVP of the All-Star Game.

Last season, Giannis and Milwaukee were eliminated by Miami in the first round of the playoffs. In the 2022/23 regular season, the Greek played 63 matches, averaged 31.1 points per game (a career high), made 11.8 rebounds, and completed 5.7 assists.

Milwaukee will begin the new season with a home match against Philadelphia on the night of October 27.
