Oleg became MVP of the match in the national championship four times
Captain Ukrainian national volleyball team, Italian player Perugia Oleg Plotnitsky received an award best finisher in the championship Italy 2022/23.
With Perugia, Plotnitsky triumphed in the Italian regular championship. However, in the playoffs, the Ukrainian team was eliminated at the quarterfinal stage, losing to Milan.
The Ukrainian volleyball player has been playing for Perugia for the fourth season. In the last Italian Championship, Plotnitsky scored 63 sets in 22 matches (190 points, 31 aces). At the same time, in four games Oleg became MVP of the match.
Note that last year Plotnitsky was recognized as MVP of the Italian Super Cup in men’s volleyball. As part of Perugia, the Ukrainian twice became the silver medalist of the Italian Championship, won the Italian Cup, three times the Italian Super Cup, as well as the Club World Cup.
At the end of 2022, Plotnitsky became the best Ukrainian volleyball player. Among women, Olesya Rykhlyuk triumphed in the voting.
