Team leader Vlasov called the 2024 Tour de France course balanced

BORA‑Hansgrohe team principal Ralf Denk said he considers the route for the Tour de France stage race in 2024 to be balanced.

The 2024 Tour de France includes 59 km of time trials on its route (two individual races). The Tour begins in Florence and ends in Nice with an individual time trial.

— At first glance, it’s a balanced Tour de France. Supporters will be delighted that the general classification favorites will prove themselves in the first week and that the fate of the yellow jersey will probably not be decided before the final event. Two “tests” and several stages at high altitude corresponded perfectly to our plans,” reports according to Denk’s words.

At one point there are gravel sections.

“It’s common knowledge that I’m not a fan of the cobbled and gravel stages of the Grand Tours. In my opinion, there are “classics” for this. We will now analyze the route in detail, compare it with the Giro and make plans,” he added.

A Russian plays for BORA‑Hansgrohe Alexander Vlasov . From 2024, Grand Tour winner and Olympic champion Primoz Roglic will be part of it.
