NAVI leader s1mple decided to take a break from his professional career

The legendary player has not yet thought about moving to another organization

Famous Ukrainian cybersportsman Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev announced that he would take a break from his professional career. Player Natus Vincere noted that he has not yet thought about moving to another organization.

“So what’s next, it’s time to take a break like I wanted, but that’s only half the story. I need to get my paperwork in order and take care of the other people in my life.”

“On moving to another organization: I’ve never thought about it, but it would be interesting to see offers, perhaps for riffler roles, since AWP doesn’t have as much influence in the new game. Nothing has been decided yet, but I hope you will still root for the guys [NAVI] at upcoming tournaments.”

Let us remind you that s1mple did not play for NAVI at the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 CS2 tournament. His place was taken by team coach Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodensky.

By HLTV informationNAVI are already looking for a replacement for s1mple and are negotiating with Sprout player Igor “w0nderful” Zhdanov.

S1mple has been playing for NAVI since August 4, 2016. Together with the Ukrainian team, he became the winner of a CS:GO major for the first time in his career, winning PGL Major Stockholm 2021. In October 2022, Kostylev signed a new three-year agreement.
