Bakole: I don’t see Usik winning the fight with Fury

Martin considers the Gypsy King a favorite

Congolese boxer Martin Bakole commented on the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury with the holder of WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO belts Alexander Usik.

“I think Tyson is too good. He has everything he needs to stop Usyk. He is capable of winning both on points and by knockout. I think Tyson will win.”

“I don’t think Usyk will win this fight. Tyson moves differently than Anthony Joshua. He has everything he needs, he moves well and is in fantastic condition. I don’t see Usyk winning this fight,” Bakole said.

Usik and Fury signed a contract to fight for the absolute title in the heavyweight category – this became known in September. The fight is planned to take place on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia. It is planned that the exact date of the event will be announced after the fight between the “Gypsy King” and Francis Ngannou.

Bakole will fight his next fight with 42-year-old Carlos Takam. The fight will take place on the undercard of the Tyson Fury-Francis Ngannou fight in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
