Shane Fury: If Usik can handle Tyson, we’ll take our hats off and admit that Alexander is the best

In favor of Tyson – physical dimensions

Shane Fury brother of the world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury commented on the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between the Gypsy King and the holder of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO titles Alexander Usik.

“When Tyson fights Usyk, it will not be a fight, but destruction. If Tyson wants to, he can easily outbox Alexander. But he won’t do it. He will erase it”

“We have a fighter whose optimal weight is under 90 kg and a giant whose weight is under 150 kg. Tyson now weighs 120 kg – he is in incredible shape. If the Ukrainian manages to cope with this, we will take off our hats and admit that Usyk is the best.”

Usyk and Fury have signed a contract to fight for the undisputed heavyweight title. It was reported that the fight is planned to take place on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia. It is planned that the exact date of the event will be announced after the fight between the “Gypsy King” and Francis Ngannou.

The contract for the undisputed heavyweight title between Usyk and Fury contains a rematch clause. The clause applies to both boxers; the loser can initiate a re-fight.
