Previously, Valery Angelopol performed in a dance duet with Vasilisa Kaganovskaya. Last season, they won the final of the Russian Ice Dancing Grand Prix, but at the end of August 2023, this duo broke up with a scandal. After the breakup, Vasilisa remained in Angelika Krylova’s group, and Angelopol agreed to train at Evgeni Plushenko’s academy.
