Figure skater Annabelle Morozova received several stitches after a collision with Elizaveta Shanaeva during the deployment at the Krasnoyarsk Grand Prix, reports Sport24.
While performing a skating dance, Shanaeva, in a duet with Pavel Drozd, collided with Annabel Morozov, who was skating with Igor Eremenko. Shanaeva accidentally hit Morozov’s leg with her skate blade, after which Annabelle needed medical attention.
Arena doctors gave the skater several stitches. She was able to continue competing.
The best results in rhythmic dancing were achieved by Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin, who scored 87.26 points. Morozov and Eremenko came third (76.13).
The skaters will present their free dance on Sunday, October 29.
