Giroud’s double was not enough for the visitors to win
In the final match of Sunday in the Italian Serie A Napoli And Milan produced a productive thriller with a final draw result of 2:2.
Milan played stronger before the break and managed to convert their advantage into two goals. Both were headed by Olivier Giroud from crosses by Christian Pulisic and Davide Calabria.
Napoli were lucky to come back in the first minutes of the second half. Matteo Politano made a great solo pass with an accurate strike. Some time later the score became equal – Giacomo Raspadori scored with a direct free-kick.
The hosts ended the game with ten men after defender Nathan was sent off, but the Rossoneri no longer had time to capitalize on this advantage.
The final draw was in favor of Inter and Juventus, who at the head of the standings slightly broke away from their pursuers, which are Milan (22 points) and Napoli (18).
