The duo’s coach, Anzhelika Krylova, told that the skater received seven stitches after the cut. At the same time, Shanaeva said that she “didn’t notice anything” during the warm-up. Morozov and Eremenko withdrew from Sunday’s free skate.

However, a five-minute warm-up is not one of the easiest things to do during a competition, I’ll tell you that from my own experience. Especially when there are a lot of strong couples on the ice. The fact that the guys crashed like that is of course terrible, but I can’t say that one side is more responsible than the other. It’s a sporting moment, it happens, no one is responsible. But if you still want to leave someone as the last, you can safely tell both partners, because their main task is to introduce the girl and protect her from such moments.

But again – competitions, five minutes, anything can happen, no one is to blame. But… Even if you don’t immediately notice that a serious injury has been caused, you may believe it. Adrenaline, mood. But I think we knew at least after a five-minute warm-up, and certainly after practice, that the injury was more serious than just a scratch.

It may not be the friendliest relationship, but you still have to remain human and respect each other in any situation. Additionally, due to the mutual fault of two couples (mostly partners), an injury was caused by 7 stitches. When you are in the media sphere, you need to understand what kind of example you are setting,” Chirisano wrote on the Telegram channel.

Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin won the duet dance competition in Krasnoyarsk. Shanaeva and Drozd won silver, Ekaterina Mironova and Evgeniy Ustenko completed the top three.
