Six times world swimming champion Yulia Efimova achieved the best time in the 50 meter breaststroke during the qualifying tournament for the Russian championship.
The 31-year-old athlete achieved a result of 30.90 seconds. The last time Efimova took to the track was in the fall of 2021.
Efimova announced her return to competition and her desire to participate in November’s Russian Championship in St. Petersburg. To do this, she must participate in district competitions and obtain an application result.
As previously reported, Efimova will compete in Astrakhan (October 30 – November 2) in six distances: three breaststroke distances, 50 m butterfly, 100 m medley, 50 m backstroke.
