“The FFKKR creates conditions for athletes that in principle do not exist abroad” – choreographer Popova

Choreographer Betina Popova expressed the opinion that the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) is doing everything necessary to maintain the motivation of national athletes.

— Our figure skating federation creates conditions that in principle do not exist abroad. Not all world championships are organized like ours. There are not everywhere such rewards as we have. Our federation is doing everything possible to keep athletes motivated to train more and do more,” Popova said according to RT.

The third stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix took place this weekend in Krasnoyarsk. Anna Frolova won the women’s competition, Dmitry Aliev won the men’s stage, and Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin became the best among the dancing couples.
