All competitions took place on the ice of the G-Drive Arena, where the Avangard hockey club plays its home matches. However, Omsk intends to host the Russian Figure Skating Championships. Elena Shkil, director of marketing and commerce of the Avangard hockey club, spoke about this.
– We discussed with the federation about the past stage of the Grand Prix, the lineups, and we, Omsk and Avangard, naturally want more stars, we want and are ready to host the Russian Championship with all the stars. We are ready to show up and have a super championship,” SE quoted Shkil as saying.
The winner of the Russian Grand Prix stage in Omsk was Adelia Petrosyan.
