Andrey Sryubko’s team will hold three sparring matches with Czech teams playing in the local U-20 Extraliga
Ukrainian youth hockey team will go to the Czech Republic, where from November 6 to 11 he will conduct a training camp.
Our U-20 team will be based in the city of Cheb (west of the Czech Republic, near the border with Germany).
In less than a week of training, the team, coached by Andrei Sryubko, will play three control matches – with local clubs Energia (Karlovy Vary), Dynamo (Pardubice) and HC Litvinov. All these teams perform in the Czech U-20 Extraliga.
The Czech training camp will be the final stage of preparation for the World Championship matches in Division 1B for young Ukrainian hockey players.
From December 11 to 17, the World Cup stage will be held in the Slovenian Bled (a resort town in the north-west of the country, near the borders with Italy and Austria). The rivals of the Ukrainian team, in addition to the local team, will be Poland, Italy, Estonia and Croatia.
